Height depends on several factors like environment, genetics, nutrition, physical activities, etc. You height growth is majorly determined by your genetics, if your parents are tall then there are very high chances that you will also be tall. But with proper diet and exercise you can achieve your potential height.

Proper diet is very crucial for overall body growth. A proper diet will provide you all the nutrition required for maintenance and functioning of body. It also helps in recovery of muscles. Without proper diet it is very difficult for your muscles and bones to develop properly.




Stretching Exercises to Increase Height



1.Child Pose



Procedure:

  • Sit by folding your legs and keeping your buttstocks on your heels.
  • Put your hands on your thighs, gently bend your body and extend your hands on the floor.
  • Rest your forehead on the floor and hold the pose for 8-10 seconds.
Benefits: Stretches spine, improves blood circulation, and relieves the lower back muscles.






2.Tadasana



Procedure:
  • Stand straight on the floor.
  • Join your hands above your head.
  • And try to stretch your hands and body towards ceiling.
  • Hold the pose for 10-15 seconds, then relax your body.
Benefits: It improves posture, reduces stress, relieves stress from upper body.







3.Rope Skipping



Procedure:
  • While jumping distribute your weight equally on both legs.
  • Make sure both legs leave the surface and touch it at same time.
  • Be focused don't struck rope in your legs.
Benefits: Makes legs strong, increases stamina.







4.Vertical bend



Procedure:
  • Stand straight with a small distance between your legs.
  • Slightly bend your upper body, keeping your legs straight.
  • Try to touch the floor or your toes with finger.
Benefits: Expands calf muscles.







5.Forward Spine Stretch



Procedure:
  • Sit while keeping your legs straight.
  • Make a small distance between your legs.
  • Bends your body forward and touch your toes.
Benefits: Stimulates back, hamstring and abdominal muscles.






6.Cat Cow Pose


Procedure:
  • Rest your body on your hands and knees.
  • Arch your back upward (making cat pose) and downward (making cow pose).
Benefits: Stimulates spine and back muscles.







7.Cycling


Cycling is one of the best exercise to increase height. It strengthens your legs. And trains almost every part of your body. Daly cycling for at least 30-40 minutes, will definitely help you to increase height.
